Hi! My name is Elsie, and I will be a junior this next school year. I am hoping to go to college to get my nursing degree in a couple of years. I love to run, swim, and lifeguard at my local pool in my extra time. I will be lifeguarding at camp this summer. I have gone to Bear Lake Camp as a camper ever since in was in third grade. I can’t wait to meet all of the new and returning campers.

Weather Update: 6/17 at 6:45pm

We are pleased to report that the camp has avoided anything more than light to moderate rain with no thunderstorms or high winds. Campers have enjoyed indoor activities and are currently in chapel time after supper. They are excited to perform their skits as our evening activity later tonight.

Current projections have rain ending around 8:00pm tonight. We are thankful for safety today!

Weather update: 6/17 (3:30pm)

Camp staff is monitoring the current weather system in our area and is prepared to move campers and staff to storm shelters should winds increase or thuderstorms develop. In the event of severe weather, cabin leaders are in constant communication with leadership staff about developments and confirming head counts to ensure that campers are accounted for and in storm safe spaces.

Currently campers are working on cabin skits, playing games in the gym and preparing for Melee on Friday. We will update here should things change on the ground.
