Hey guys! No delicious baked treats to report today, just a small announcement:
With a rise in small businesses using AI to promote their goods and services, I want to be very clear that my platform is and will always be Anti-Generative AI.
All menus, event flyers, posts, stickers used by me are (maybe obviously so) created by my own two shakey hands & anxious brain, just like everything I bake. Humans are evolving creatures & not immediately perfect, and neither is the art we create.
While I'm aware social media has embedded AI for the algorithms and whatnot, generative AI is a completely different monster. It's depleting our fresh water, affecting our wildlife and pollinators, and above all, making us less intelligent and more lazy.
For me and many others, the cons outweigh the pros a million to one.
I would much rather see a half-assed Canva menu with a ton of grammatical errors using photos of your REAL LIFE products, than a "perfect" rendering using a prompt.
And I'm more likely to buy from you.
