A healthy roof needs room to breathe. 🏠💨
Proper attic ventilation is an important part of the roofing system. Air should be able to enter through the intake vents near the lower part of the roof and move through the attic before warm, moisture-filled air escapes through ridge vents at the peaks. Without proper airflow, excess heat and moisture can become trapped—potentially contributing to condensation, mold, wood deterioration, ice dams, and premature wear on your roofing materials.
The shingles are what you see, but what’s happening underneath them matters just as much.
