Shepherds Community Brick Oven

Shepherds Community Brick Oven Members of Shepherds Chapel Community Church are working together to provide healthy, affordable, and delicious artisan bread to the community.

Mostly made up of stay at home moms/wives, we are excited to start a new venture that will help build up the local economy and provide some extra income for our families as we have each felt led to stay home and take care of our families at this point in our lives. Please pray that the Lord will bless this endeavor as we seek to honor Him.

The bread is going in the oven soon! We've got loaves, cinnamon rolls, and small bread bowls for tonight. Our church will have hot chocolate, pop corn, and soup too! We'll be on the front porch of the church to watch the parade, come join us!

We're baking tomorrow! We'll have loaves and cinnamon rolls at the parade, so come watch the parade at 5:30 with us!

32 loaves are going in the oven this afternoon and 13 are already spoken for! If you would like to reserve one/some you can let me know on here by 2:00 and we'll put your name on it!

The loaves are rising and the oven is cooling! Soon we'll have fresh, delicious bread to eat!

So it looks like we'll be baking on Thursday afternoon this week! We should have around 36 loaves for sale after 5 pm, dependent on the oven and the dough (both of which have minds of their own!). Our church is hosting a Trunk or Treat on Halloween night too, so it'll be a fun time. Hope to see you there!

Thank you so much for coming and checking out our goodies today! We made 42 loaves of bread and had a great time meeting members of our community as they came to see what we are all about. Please feel free to go ahead and place your orders for next week!

Bread will be coming out of the oven around 9:30, 10:00, 11:30 and 12:00 tomorrow morning! $4.00 a loaf! We will also have cinnamon buns ready at 9:30 and 11:30, come get them while they are hot!

What a great day! We sold every loaf of bread and all the cinnamon buns were eaten by 11:00! Thank you Lord for bringing life to our church on this beautiful fall day! We are planning to bake weekly so if you would like a loaf just let us know! We will keep you updated on when the bread will be ready so you can get yours fresh and warm right out of the oven!
