Senior Work-Based Learning student Camden Timmons works at a local Albany business, Smallcakes: A Cupcakery- Albany, Ga. Camden is a terrific employee and has learned about baking and decorating cakes, cupcakes, cookies, macarons, and brownies. She plans to attend UNG to major in Marketing.
Work-Based Learning is a high school program for juniors and seniors to earn high school credit while employed in a variety of job placements. These students receive real-world, hands-on opportunities to learn and demonstrate employability skills in the workplace. We are very thankful to our local communities for supporting our students and allowing us the opportunity to assist in building a highly trained workforce.
