Now Hiring: Experienced Baker — Bodhi Bakery, Albany

Good bread. Early mornings. A team that takes pride in its craft.

Bodhi Bakery is looking for an experienced, dependable baker to join our Albany production kitchen. We make long-fermented sourdough, laminated croissants, and a wide variety of pastries and desserts for our cafés and farmers markets.

If you enjoy hands-on work, care about consistency, and appreciate the rhythm of an early-morning bakery, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule

Sunday: 5 a.m.–11 a.m. or noon

Monday: 5 a.m.–11 a.m.

Tuesday: 5 a.m.–11 a.m.

Wednesday: 5 a.m.–11 a.m.

Additional overnight shift: Likely every other Saturday, starting at midnight; details discussed during the interview.

What we’re looking for

Professional baking experience, especially with bread, pastry, or laminated dough

Dependability and availability for the listed schedule

Attention to quality, consistency, and food safety

The ability to work efficiently, stay organized, and keep a clean workspace

A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the team
