Chevre Honey Cheesecake w/ Lemon Lavender biscotti crust. I have been making specialty cheesecakes with flavored biscotti crusts. I made a Chocolate Cheesecake with my Peanut Butter biscotti crust and a Key Lime cheesecake with My Coconut Macadamia nut crust. So far my favorite is this Chevre Honey cheesecake with a Lemon Lavender Biscotti crust. AMAZING!!

Yesterday afternoon I made the most amazing Roasted Raspberry Curd. So now I will no longer use regular raspberry sauce between layers of cake but some of this creamy delightful curd.

I must be under the spell of pies because this week I perfected a triple layer Key Lime Pie. This is not your mothers Key Lime Pie. It's tart and 3 distinct layers all with Key Lime juice in them. It was wonderful and refreshing.
Then I decided to try a Strawberry Rhubarb pie. It turned out wonderfully for my first attempt. I love this pie so it won't be my last. My waistband in expanding but how I love a good pie.

In two weeks I will begin baking biscotti for the annual Holiday Home Tour Boutique on Dec. 9th in the Rathskellar room of the Elks Club in Alameda. I'll have Cranberry Pistachio, Orange Bittersweet Chocolate Chip, Almond Anise and everyone's favorite Chai Tea dipped in Callebaut White Chocolate. Feel free to contact me for advanced orders. Wow, I have just developed 2 NEW Biscotti flavors. My new additions are:
Pretzel Chocolate Chip
Coconut Macadamia Nut

Coconut is a very popular flavor right now so I decided that I'd better come up with a coconut biscotti. It's made with toasted coconut and rum and macadamia nuts. Great combo!

The pretzel Chocolate Chip Biscotti is a perfect blend of salty & sweet. My first try was dipping the baked biscotti in melted bittersweet chocolate. The chocolate dipping didn't add anything to the biscotti so I decided to use bittersweet chocolate chips in the biscotti and that turned out to be the perfect addition.

Going to be a vendor at the Piedmont Kitchen tour this Fri & Sat. I'll be selling sampler bags of mini biscotti with 4 pieces of mini biscotti in 3 flavors (Lemon Lavender, Italian Almond Anise & Orange Choc. Chip). I'll also be selling full size bags of Chai Tea Biscotti dipped in white chocolate. This is my first time at this venue so I have no idea about how much biscotti to bake.

My best selling biscotti is Chai Tea dipped in Callebaut White Chocolate. They were sold out at the Holiday Home Tour Boutique last weekend and I've been getting orders for more. Chai Tea Biscotti has a delightful Fall spicy taste with the addition of Allspice, Cardamom and Nutmeg. Dipping it in high quality white chocolate just makes it heavenly.

I have 3 new flavors.
Almond Vanilla Bean Biscotti which has a strong rich vanilla bean taste made with the addition of whole almonds. This flavor reminds one of fall baking, a nice cup of hot coffee or tea and a good book.

My second new and exciting flavor is Hazelnut Biscotti. This biscotti is made with chopped Hazelnuts throughout so every bite has that strong Hazelnut flavor.

Saving the best for last; my final newest flavor is a wonderful Orange Biscotti with Bittersweet Chocolate Chips. My taste testers have given rave reviews and I have to say it's also one of my favorites. There is a strong orange flavor to the biscotti and the addition of Bittersweet Chocolate Chips puts it over the top in flavor excitement. This biscotti will be featured at the Holiday Home Tour Boutique on Dec. 8th

I just perfected a very yummy Orange Chocolate Chip Biscotti to add to my list of biscotti. It has a very flavorful orange taste and with the addition of chocolate chips it's "to die for".

I have developed a wonderful Chocolate Peppermint Biscotti for the holidays. It has little bits of festive Peppermint candy cane on top. I'll be selling these biscotti along with my Chai Tea Biscotti that's dipped in Callebaut White Chocolate and my Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti at the annual Alameda Holiday Home Tour Boutique in December.

I enjoy filling special requests. I made Bavarian Cream and served in the customers fancy teacups for a special dessert at a dinner party so feel free to make special requests. No request is out of the question at Sue, Especially For You!

I have perfected 3 more Biscotti flavors that will be available only through me directly and through The Beanery in Alameda. They are:
Lemon Biscotti a light refreshing lemon flavor that melds beautifully with Anise & Almonds.
Coffee Kahlua Biscotti a full bodied coffee flavored biscotti made with espresso powder from the Beanery.
Caffe Mocha Biscotti a perfect blend of Coffee & dark cocoa.
