Chevre Honey Cheesecake w/ Lemon Lavender biscotti crust. I have been making specialty cheesecakes with flavored biscotti crusts. I made a Chocolate Cheesecake with my Peanut Butter biscotti crust and a Key Lime cheesecake with My Coconut Macadamia nut crust. So far my favorite is this Chevre Honey cheesecake with a Lemon Lavender Biscotti crust. AMAZING!!

Yesterday afternoon I made the most amazing Roasted Raspberry Curd. So now I will no longer use regular raspberry sauce between layers of cake but some of this creamy delightful curd.

I must be under the spell of pies because this week I perfected a triple layer Key Lime Pie. This is not your mothers Key Lime Pie. It's tart and 3 distinct layers all with Key Lime juice in them. It was wonderful and refreshing.
Then I decided to try a Strawberry Rhubarb pie. It turned out wonderfully for my first attempt. I love this pie so it won't be my last. My waistband in expanding but how I love a good pie.

On Wed. I got a call from the Food Network asking if I would like to be a contestant for the Holiday Baking Championship. I'm so flattered however I declined. I don't think my heart could stand it.

In two weeks I will begin baking biscotti for the annual Holiday Home Tour Boutique on Dec. 9th in the Rathskellar room of the Elks Club in Alameda. I'll have Cranberry Pistachio, Orange Bittersweet Chocolate Chip, Almond Anise and everyone's favorite Chai Tea dipped in Callebaut White Chocolate. Feel free to contact me for advanced orders. These make wonderful gifts for neighbors, friends and co-workers.
