A little update from Frosted WNY Donuts!

We want to let everyone know that we’ll be extending our temporary closure as we take more time to figure out the best path forward for Frosted WNY Donuts.

As many of you know, we planned to use this past week to expand our kitchen and make some changes behind the scenes. After taking some time to step back, listen to your feedback, and really evaluate the best path forward, we've decided that we need a little more time before reopening.

Frosted WNY Donuts will remain temporarily closed while we work through these next steps. We know some of you were expecting us to reopen this week, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we take the time to make the right decisions for the future of Frosted.

The support we've received from Akron and the surrounding communities has been incredible, and we're truly grateful for everyone who has supported our little shop.

We appreciate everyone being patient with us as we take this time to work through things. We'll share updates here when we're ready, and thank you for giving us the space to figure out what's best for Frosted.

🐧🐧 Frosted and Meep have an important announcement!!!

And that’s a wrap on the week at Frosted WNY Donuts!

We will be CLOSED ALL NEXT WEEK, Wednesday, October 7th through Saturday, October 10th, as we take a short break to expand our kitchen and make some important changes behind the scenes.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve listened to so many of your comments, questions and suggestions, and we really have taken them to heart. After everything we’ve experienced since opening, we feel this is the best step forward for Frosted WNY Donuts.

The response to this little donut shop has been more than we ever could have imagined. The support, the lines, the sellouts, the kind words and the way Akron has welcomed us has truly been overwhelming. We are incredibly grateful for this community and for the way you’ve continued to show up for us week after week.

At the same time, these first few weeks have given us a lot to reassess. We want to expand our kitchen, make some changes, and make sure we’re moving forward in a way that works for Frosted and for the community we’re so lucky to be a part of.

Our current plan is to reopen Wednesday, October 14th. We’ll keep everyone updated while we’re closed, and if anything changes with that timeline, we’ll let you know.

For now, we just want to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has stopped in, waited in line, came back for more, shared our posts, told your friends about us, left reviews and supported Frosted in so many different ways… we appreciate you more than we can put into words.

Akron, you have welcomed us in a way we never could have imagined, and we are so thankful. ❄️🍩

And that's a wrap for today! 🐧🐧 We are officially SOLD OUT!

We also wanted to give a little update for those who have been nervous about the lines. Things are starting to settle into a more steady flow, and the big rush right at opening is becoming a little more spread out. We can't make any guarantees for Friday and Saturday, butttt if you've been scared away by the lines you've seen, don't give up on us!

We know not everyone can make it first thing in the morning, and we're working on it!

I'm going to try my best to get Placek 🍞 on the shelves tomorrow, but it will definitely be available Saturday! 🍎 Fritters on Saturday too and hopefully a new additional flavor, BLUEBERRY 🫐

Thank you all for continuing to be so patient and supportive while we figure all of this out. We appreciate you more than you know 🙏

Another morning, another completely empty case.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out this morning. We seriously can't say enough how much we appreciate all of the support you've shown us.

We're back tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM!

Wednesday-Friday: 6:00 AM until sold out

Saturday: 8:00 AM until sold out

A few things to look forward to this week:

🍎 GIANT Fritters will be available Saturday, and we're planning to introduce a NEW flavor... Blueberry 🫐

🥯 Meahltime Farms sourdough bagels will be stocked - Cinnamon Sugar, Everything, and Plain

🍞 Placek will also be available on Saturday

We have all your favorites in the case, with a few rotating flavors to keep it interesting!

Stay tuned for a VERY BIG ANNOUCEMENT coming in the next few days about next week. We hear you, Akron! You want MORE donuts! ❄️ 🍩

Another sellout day! Thank you so much! ❄️🍩

We’re closed for the week, but we do still have some placek loaves and Meahltime Farms jumbo cookies left 🍪 If you’d like to grab one, you can swing by and knock on the front door and we’ll get you taken care of! We're cleaning up and will be around for a few.

That’s a wrap for our week. We’ll be back Wednesday at 6 AM.
