Meet KKoqui Sweetsowner

Hi, I’m the heart behind Koqui Sweet.

What started as a passion for baking became something much deeper—a way to heal, grow, and start again.

In 2025, I faced Stage III esophageal cancer and underwent a major esophagectomy surgery. Those months challenged me in ways I never imagined, but through it all, I found peace, strength, and inspiration in creating. Baking became more than something I loved… it became my way forward.

Inspired by the coquí, a small frog from Puerto Rico known for its powerful voice, Koqui Sweet represents resilience, strength, and the beauty of never giving up. No matter how small we may feel, we all have something meaningful to share.

Behind every dessert is a piece of my journey. Today, Koqui Sweet is not just about desserts

—it’s about connection, culture, and creating joy for others.
