While the ovens are officially closed I will be getting orders out (online store still has some cookies), stocking our retail stores over the next few days, and sending former employees some notes of appreciation. Thank you for truly changing my life. Because of this job I had so many incredible honors and privileges over the years. From wearing the crown for top cookie shop in Ohio, impacting the Greater Akron Area with over $40,000 in donations, to playing a an integral part in major life moments for near and far. Thank you for allowing me into your lives.

I will leave you with this. Stay FAT has been my sign off for a few years now, but not many know what I mean by it. FAT is a philosophy. I have instilled in my workers and I’ve lived out in my life over the past eight years. These three small gestures can truly make a difference in the world. Be Friendly (a smile can change someone’s day or life). Be All in (do what you do to your best ability, not inly for others but for self fulfillment. Fill up your glass). Be There (be present in this race we call life. You only get one shot at this. Live in the moment more often). Show love to those around you and find the life you want to live. I know I will.

Tomorrow (February 12th) is the big day . The Fat Finale. Come join us at for our warm cookie pop-up and retirement party from 5pm to 8pm. There will be some normal cookies like OG and Cookie’s Favorite Cookie then there will be some never before released cookies as we work with what we have left in our inventory. In addition to that we will have some to-go packaged cookies available for purchase and the coffee shop will have coffee and milk available to wash down the warm cookies! Fat T will be working his way from the kitchen to the dining area all night to come say hello.

It has been etched in stone. The Fat T’s Cookies era is coming to an end on Thursday February, 12th. A few things:
1. We will be having a warm cookie pop up to celebrate Fat T’s 4 day retirement and a last hurrah for Fat T’s Cookies at our kitchen (more details to come but it will be at ).
2. We will make a post this weekend asking for questions about our 8 years in business and answer all of your questions (privately or publicly) about our legendary run. *We’re calling it legendary. Deal with it. Fat T was named one of the best in the world at what he did by Buzzfeed.*
3. We are still making cookies and paying employees. Buying cookies keeps us busy and sane…ish
4. Since we made the announcement of our impending closure in December, the outpouring support and kind words and stories have truly meant the world to us. There is no Fat T’s Cookies without the .
5. Fat T here. I didn’t cry making this post like I did the December post. It’s called progress and acceptance.

Another week, another out of pocket cookie review. Three more releases this week and they are all seasonal cookies. What’s Up Doc? (carrot cake), S’mummer Camp (s’mores), and S’mummer Nights (chocolate s’mores).
