Cats outta the bag! I’m so excited to say that I’m opening Shake Your Cakes back up! I took a much needed break and have been doing little projects here and there, but I’m so ready to be back open to help you celebrate all the precious moments of life! 💛💛💛

Well friends! Happy Hallo-week! Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! Unfortunately, this year it looks a little different. But 2020 couldn’t stop me from creating some bad-apple cakes;)

This year has not been what it was supposed to be. Which is ok. The ability to adapt and learn and change has been something that I’ve had to learn in this industry. I am so grateful for all of my clients this year. I have loved another year of creating. Thank you to all who ordered, supported, and shared. The next few months in my life are pretty crazy.

Starting November 1st, 2020, I will not be taking any orders to be delivered until February 1st, 2021. If you have questions or would like to put in an order after February 1st, please still reach out. I may take a little longer to respond to messages or emails, but I promise I will get back to you. If you would like treats for Valentines Day, please remember that if your order is put in less than two weeks from your delivery date, an extra fee will be applied.

Again, I am so grateful for the ability that you all give me to keep doing what I love. I hope you have a great holiday season and you get to celebrate it with those who matter most to you. Happy end of 2020 everyone, and if you can, go vote! 💛

Happy Halloween! I love Halloween and it is definitely my favorite holiday! I absolutely loved making this cake and trying out my new combs and black cocoa powder for the first time. I am so grateful to Brooke and her cute family for letting me come into their house and make a mess. She also took these awesome photos and I’m so glad to finally have some for my portfolio! While this cake is far from perfect, it was a great trial run for all my new goodies! I love trying new things!

A few days late, but happy school year, Potterheads! I love this series so much, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity I had to make some DELICIOUS for some friends. This loves being in the kitchen! Surprise surprise, right? What sweet treat or food item from the Potterverse would you want to try? SHOUTOUT TO MY FAVORITE PODCAST- I listen to you guys every time I bake, and especially today!

I also have an update for everyone. I have always asked to have at least a two week notice when ordering treats from me. As you may know, it’s just me, myself, and I here at Shake Your Cakes (also sometimes my cute hubby) and I have a full time job on top of helping you celebrate! I am going to start charging a $25 late booking fee for any desserts that are not ordered two weeks prior to the delivery date. To bring you the highest quality goodies, I bake everything to order; this takes significant coordination and planning on my part. I special order only the best decorations for my clients, and those need as much lead time as possible to arrive on time for your event. If you have any questions, please reach out. I am so excited to continue bringing you the best tasting and looking desserts in Spokane! Thank you again, as always, for your continued love and support!

You guys! I can’t believe it! When I posted yesterday, 14 hours ago, that I would have 10 slots open for some chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered, I could’ve never imagined in a matter of a couple hours I would have 31 DOZEN ORDERS! I am blown away and so grateful for each and every one of you! Thank you for placing your orders! I have a busy Saturday ahead!
