Our second stop on the bus tour today was Woods Farm Market. It was great meeting everyone at this amazing new small business in Aiken. I also got to meet River Mae, the Boykin Spaniel and pick up some local honey!
This is the BEST Market in Aiken, it is Amazing! Believe it!
Thank you so much for the delicious Canalope!!
Pam your vase’s first stop! 🤩🥰😘
I’m happy to see a market with such a positive impact on the Aiken area! Today I’d like to offer some positivity of my own. Kiss the Ground is a wonderful documentary I recently found on Netflix. I was surprised by just how entertaining and informative the film was, and I appreciated the hopeful perspective it offered. Josh and Rebecca Tickell direct this movie, which advocates for regenerative farming practices in order to keep our environments beautiful and reduce our carbon footprints. The celebrity cast was entertaining, and I learned that these practices can be applied to local gardens and kitchens, such as how I source my produce from places such as Woods Farm Market. Our soils really are the key to a healthy ecosystem, and I now have a more positive attitude towards our impact on the climate crisis. If anyone is interested in a fun movie with an important message, I recommend giving Kiss the Ground a watch soon!
By chance “or fate” we had the pleasure of meeting Pam and Wood Farm Market. When you’re ready for some southern hospitality coupled with simple kindness and a store that is “in business for the right reasons” ...you’ve got to get to Woods Farm. Its got not only farm to table meats and cheese, local vegetables and plants, but also a charming collection of home and garden novel gifts....not to mention some delicious home made Strawberry Pie (made with real strawberries) and live entertainment today. Be sure to check it out..its well worth the effort.
