We apologize for any delays in getting back to those of you who have called and left voicemails the last week or so. Allergy season has reared its ugly head and I have lost my voice. We would like to thank our customers for their support during this holiday season and throughout the year.
We would also like to clarify an issue that we know you will be able to help us with. As you know, we closed our retail location in September of 2019 and are now a SPECIAL ORDERS ONLY BAKERY.
We schedule specific order pick up times because we have many customers picking up and we have many orders scheduled for delivery as well. It makes it difficult to keep our delivery schedule when our customers do not adhere to the time they chose to pick up.
We rely on our customers to pick up on time or call us, in advance, if they are unable to arrive on time just as they rely on us to be available at the time that was scheduled.

During the COVID-19 restrictions The Confection Cottage adjusted to the temporary closure and social distancing requirements by closing the retail store and converted to special orders only with curbside pickup and delivery options. This new business venture brought exciting growth and developed into a full time business.
We have decided to continue as a special orders only business and have relocated to a private commercial kitchen, no longer requiring the retail store front. We will continue to accept orders by phone at 803-335-1440. A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ORDERS. Everything is made fresh to order, we do not have any premade items.
Please call us at 803-335-1440 to place your orders between the hours of 9am-4pm Monday-Saturday. If you reach our voicemail we are either on the phone with another customer or out making deliveries. PLEASE leave a message so we can return your call.

Hope everyone had a wonderful halloween and now it is time for Thanksgiving already! This year will be a bit different than previous years due to not being open for walkins. We will not be making any products to just have on hand for someone to walk in a pick up. That means that all orders MUST be called in ahead of time and a special order placed. The Confection Cottage is taking its’ very successful bakery and tea business virtual!
The Confection Cottage temporarily closed as required by the government on March 18, 2020. Our retail location remained closed to walk in customers for the next six months while we transitioned our business to a no-contact venue. We continued to accept special orders and deliver our delicious, fresh from scratch baked goods to our customers. After recognizing people are still unsure about going out and eating in restaurants, but are comfortable with curbside pickup, we made the decision to fully realize the transition of an on-line, special order, no-contact style of business.
