If I already knew how to bake and wanted to start a home bakery to make some extra money on the side… this is exactly what I would do.

I wouldn’t try to compete with every other baker selling the exact same desserts everyone sees every day.

I’d pick ONE product that people stop scrolling for. Something that looks different, feels premium, photographs beautifully, and makes people curious enough to ask, “Wait… what is THAT?”

I wouldn’t waste months jumping from random recipe to random recipe hoping something finally worked consistently. I’d use a proven base recipe and a system that actually makes sense.

I’d learn how to create multiple flavors from the same dough so I could save time, save money on ingredients, and stop overcomplicating everything.

I’d focus on products that are easy to batch, easy to customize, and easy to sell by the slice for higher profit margins.

I’d also learn how to market the product properly because baking is only half the business. People need to SEE it, crave it, and remember it.

And honestly?

I’d probably start with Cookie Pies.

This morning’s Boujie Sip tastes like an orange cream float grew up and decided to become a hydration drink. 😂🍊☁️

I started with Arizona green tea with ginseng and honey, added some electrolyte water, then mixed in an orange cream pop hydration packet… and somehow this turned into the smoothest creamy citrus sip ever.

The tea gives it this gorgeous deep honey-amber color before the cold foam goes on top, and then the marshmallow cloud cream melts down into the prettiest peachy-orange swirl once you stir it together.

Flavor-wise? It’s sweet, creamy, citrusy, and honestly tastes way more “treat” than “hydration.”

The orange cream flavor comes through first, but the vanilla marshmallow cloud on top makes it taste almost like an orange creamsicle float from childhood.

And the layered look before mixing? Absolutely boujie. 😍

At this point I think my kitchen has officially become the Boujie Sips Lab.

Hey y'all, real talk for a second...

When YOU are craving "something sweet" with little effort, what are you reaching for? I think it would be so fun seeing everyone's answers because I'm always looking for new comfort treats to try.

This one came from thinking about my husband's favorite desserts (today was his birthday ❤️). He loves my strawberry shortcake and he loves my tres leches cake.

Both of which require more ingredients, more prep, and more effort.

Nope. Not today. 😂

So I combined the two.

Walmart angel food cake, a quick creamy tres leches-style mixture, strawberry filling, whipped topping, and a little strawberries & cream sugar on top.

I'm sure this isn't some brand-new invention, but maybe the easy prep part will put it into your "I just want something sweet without making my whole kitchen explode" list.

Sometimes simple just hits harder than fancy.

I wouldn't spend months trying to create 50 different recipes from scratch.
And I definitely wouldn't keep wasting ingredients trying random Pinterest recipes hoping one finally worked.
I'd find something different enough to make people stop scrolling and ask:
"Wait... what IS that?"
