We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Hubbell Foundation for their generous donation in support of our department operations.

The Hubbell Foundation has a wonderful program that recognizes their employees who volunteer in their communities and supports the causes they care about. This donation was made possible through the community service of two of their own.

We want to give a special thank you to Chad and Miranda Jordan for their dedication to serving our community and for making this donation possible. Your commitment to service does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful.

Donations like this help us continue to serve and protect our community. Thank you, Hubbell Foundation!

The Couchton Fire and Rescue recieved a VSAFE grant this year. The below equipment was purchased at no cost to our community. This equipment will promote proficient operations. The new Firelite Skid Unit will allow us to further provide fire and medical services in isolated areas where our larger apparatus cannot. This unit has the capability of suppressing small fires with water and foam capabilities. Another capability is to transport medical patients out of isolated areas. The blue Rehab chair, is part of our new Rehab unit providing rehab services to all departments in Aiken County. The blue hose and new tripod light will assist on fire ground operations. The equipment is a great addition to enhance our departments capabilites to serve our community.

Last night we recognized our members for completing their CPR course. This course is part of a Emergency Medical Responder course which is being conducted to allow our members to respond to medical calls and rehab calls. On top of this course, Couchton Officers attended a Instructor Orientation Workshop for Auto Extrication. This allows our officers to instruct SC Fire Academy courses in our department. Congratulations to each of you on your ongoing successes in your training and service to our community. Chief Lamb

On this 25th anniversary of September 11th, Couchton Fire and Rescue pauses to remember and honor. We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost, including 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and 8 paramedics who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. We honor their courage, their selflessness, and the oath they lived by - to run toward danger when others run away.We will never forget the bravery of those who climbed the stairs, the resilience of the survivors, and the families who carry that loss still today. As members of the fire service, we accept the responsibility to keep their memory alive through our own service, dedication, and commitment to this community.

Today and always, we stand in remembrance. We will never forget
