We are located directly across from the courthouse between the sidewalks.
This week The Busy Bakers had a blast preparing items for a baby shower. We made rum balls rolled in edible pink glitter dust, cupcakes, blondies and cookies. Be sure to place an order for your next event by calling the bakery at 803-642-8837 or online at aikentdc.org.

The Busy Bakers will be at the Aiken Farmers Market tomorrow, June 4th from 7:30am-11:30a. We will have our delicious Benne Wafers and Cheddar Rounds, as well as a variety of cookies. We will also have our famous Giant Cinnamon Rolls for sale.

Today is South Carolina's 33rd Annual Disability Advocacy Day in Columbia and we are excited to meet with lawmakers from our area to talk with them about services important to the individuals we support and serve.
The Busy Bakers celebrated Brittany today. We are happy to announce that she has found a job in the community working at a local grocery store in the bakery. We hope that you carry all the skills you learned into your new job. You will be missed, but we are very proud of all of your accomplishments.
Today the Busy Bakers spent the day preparing gift bags to pass out to members of the House in Columbia. Hopefully these small gifts will allow the members of the house to become aware of the severe staffing shortage we are facing within our agency and other agencies similar to ours in our state. Today we are at the Holiday Market at the DDSN central office in Columbia, South Carolina. If you are in the area stop by today until 2:30pm.
The Busy Bakers have decorated a bakery themed Christmas Tree. Please stop by The Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum located at 406 Park Ave. SE in downtown Aiken. They are open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm. Don't miss your chance to see our beautiful tree in person. While there, make sure you cast a vote for your favorite Christmas Tree. They will be having a tree lighting ceremony on Friday, December 3 at 4pm. The voting will end on December 17th.
We are counting down the days until the Christmas Craft Show at O'Dell Weeks. Today we prepared homemade marshmallows! These ooey gooey treats make great stocking stuffers and are a great way to top your hot cocoa. Make plans to come see us on December 3rd and 4th from 9am-5pm.
The Busy Bakers have set up a table at Operation TDC Christmas which is located at 106 Park Avenue in downtown Aiken. Feel free to stop in and see what our TDC team has been up to this season.

We are all set up and ready for Mistletoe and Merlot! We have several Christmas specialty items for sale tonight such as hot chocolate bombs and spoons and homemade marshmallows. We will be here at Newberry Hall in downtown Aiken until 9pm.
