My latest chocolate chip cookie go to is the Joanna Gaines recipe! Sub self rising flour for all purpose flour, salt and baking soda. Add about 1/2-3/4 extra flour than what the recipe calls for and bake on CONVECTION! This recipe is all over the internet and in her Magnolia Table cookbook volume 1 ❣️

I still stand by my opinion that one of the best parts of traveling is trying new restaurants and new dishes that later inspire you to try new things at home in your own kitchen. I love love love that! I have so many pictures of my phone of meals from out of town and whenever i’m in a rut in the kitchen, i thumb through for some sort of inspiration. This pot roast (roasted green beans not pictured) is a the perfect example. For as long as I can remember, i’ve enjoyed pot roast with potatoes and carrots but we were out of town on a ski trip and had a very similar beef short rib dish served with cheese grits and green beans. It was so goo, now i almost exclusively serve pot roast the same way and think of that fun trip every time!

Why have pancakes or french toast for breakfast when you can have pound cake?!? I love to try new recipes for cookies and cakes but when it comes to a pound cake, I haven’t strayed from this recipe the last 5 years! I love the combo of vanilla and almond. Also highly recommend melting some chocolate canned icing if you’re in a pinch and want to make it a little fancy!

Snow menu loading…. ✅ i’ve decided crispy tator tots are the perfect companion for a nice pot of chili. Added bonus if you sprinkle some pepper & garlic salt on the tots when they are hot and crispy out of the oven! Sooooo good

I know it’s easy for a lot of people to cook a pork shoulder in the oven or on the grill but i’m always going to pick the crock pot option if i can 😂 i’m all about fixing something for dinner and forgetting about it so i can spend my time worrying about what to make for dessert 🤪 I especially love this crock pot “recipe” cause it’s an easy way to make a lot of meat at one time and then you can use it a variety of ways depending what you like!
