🎂 As many of you know this was my last wedding cake on my calendar. I truly didn’t know what my emotions would deal me this week. I must say several unexpected things came up along with remodeling the house which was a good distraction.
🤓 the stress level became a little overwhelming on Friday and Saturday just thinking about what could go wrong with my new neighbor’s cake! Would it survive the rainy forecast? Would the icing still be on the cake when it was time to serve because of the high humidity? Would it taste good or would it be dry because of the light icing coverage? Would my local peeps dissect it to pieces and give me a bad review? 😔.
Y’all, these questions and many more was what I went through with every cake that left my studio. My stress level was through the roof every week. And it was making me very sick. So I closed down my calendar September 2018. 🗓 no more cakes.

I may do some cake videos not exactly sure about that yet. Possibly some cake stands😉 they are so needed in this industry.
But I will be starting a blog and sharing our new remodel on some new things we’re doing in the house.
Products and techniques that were doing! It’s so exciting to see our home slowly being transformed!

Y’all have been so good to me and it is much appreciated! I can’t tell you the times that I’ve been stopped in different cities by you lovely ladies to tell me how much you love our cakes!
