Please read: This is hard for me to post, but I have taken some time this past few months to really focus on what is best for my family, myself, my health and overall wellbeing and I have decided to close my home bakery.

I have spent 6 years pouring my heart into building The Shire Cottage Bakery from scratch and have had some bumps in the road with my health along the way which has led me to this decision.

I will be closing officially on Saturday, October 31, 2026 with a HUGE final farewell GF Pastry porch pop up, please message me for details if you plan to attend.

Thank you to all who have supported me through the years, it was my dream to become a pastry chef, attend culinary school and open a bakery. Dreams do come true ❤️

I will continue to bake and post recipes from this page if you continue to follow thank you 🙂 If requested baking and decorating classes will still be available. Please message me for details.

I am so in awe of my daughters talent, she had no idea I was recording her (yes I got her permission to post this). She worked all day at a camp, then went to soccer practice, came home, picked up her guitar and started singing. She has been teaching herself guitar for the past 6 months and has been singing since she was a baby 🙂 Zoe you are amazing ❤️
