Sterling Street and Broken Creek Vineyard will have products available for purchase beginning at 10:00 AM, with the B**r Garden opening for drinks at 11:30 AM.

As stewards of a 257 year old colonial home in a town who's minutemen (including the original builder of this house!!) fought in the battles that paved the way for the American revolution to follow, the oft called 'shot heard 'round the world', we have a particular sense of pride and appreciation for Today. From colonial times, a home to multiple generations of the Harris and other local Acton families, and finally now to both a home and a microbakery serving our community the best in local organic grains grown and milled right here in the Northeast, history is a big part of why we do what we do!

The history of bread stretches as far back as civilization itself, and yet it's only in the last 50 years or so that bread and flour have become perverted by money, industry, and illicit influence. Flour is a living thing, just like history!

At Harris Hearth, we aren't just baking bread in a 250 year old hearth, not just respecting traditions and craft that go back thousands of years, and not even just honoring and promoting the northeast grain economy, we are merging history, sustenance, and community in a shared living tradition that honors craft, community, and history!
