We had such a fun time seeing all the littles dressed up tonight!!
But…
I wasn’t sure if I was going to address it or not, but I do actually want to say I was highly disappointed in some adults who attended this event.. the lighted parade was at 6:30 and the trunk-or-treat was to start at 7, right about when the parade was returning to the fairgrounds. We returned back a few minutes before 7 and when I rounded my vehicle there was a group of ADULTS taking HAND FULLS of cookies off my table… how disrespectful??? Not just to us as a business but those cookies were specifically for the trunk-or-treaters who came and braved the cold weather to be there tonight. Thanks to them I had about half of what I had actually brought to hand to the children, so I ran out very quickly. I am sorry to the kids who didn’t get a cookie, but thankfully with the help of others around us we were able to hand out some candy.

As adults we need to act better.. we tried to do something nice for our community kids and got a little bummed seeing hours in the kitchen walk away with greedy adults rather than smiling kids.
Sorry for the long post, I’m just a little bummed!!
