For 10 years, Cakes by Birdie has been so blessed to be a part of so many special occasions all over the Big Country and beyond! After many months of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to phase out of the full-time cake business and pursue an amazing opportunity that has been presented to me. I have poured myself into each and every cake and will forever be grateful to all my clients who wanted me to be a part of such special life events and memories.
This decision has not come easy to me. I love creating pretty things. But, at this time, I will not be taking any new orders, and over the next few weeks, I will be fulfilling the orders that have already been booked. Not to worry, I may still offer holiday cake specials and will have the need to periodically express my creativity. Who knows, you may still see my almond cake at an event or two 🥳
Again, I want to thank all those who have supported Cakes by Birdie over the this last decade and all the cake years before I became Birdie. It has been my pleasure to serve and to be, what some people have called, Abilene's cake lady.
