ASAAVA is a new dynamic and community based organization aiming at cassava growing in Uganda and Africa in general
it has its head office in Wakiso district west of Kampala city . it operates in Wakiso ,kiryandong, kiboga and Nakasongola districts

ASAAVA HAS THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES
1.To reduce climate induced risks in cereal crops an animals
2.promotion of ne

w and modern varieties/species in rural African communities
3.To eradicate poverty and extreme hunger among African countries through capacity building technology transfers and innovations
4.Building strong sustainable ,good governance,practice proper accountability,transparency amongst the poor rural communities to harness the available resources and talents to their own benefit by training them forms of technical skills business and management

VISIONS
To be the leading institution of promoting cassava as commodity and produce focused leadership through farming practices in order to promote food security and alleviation of rural household poverty. MANDATE
Its main mandate has and will always be to undertake research on cereal crops and cassava bread production for Uganda and Africa in general through capacity building.
