We are seriously alarmed by this disturbing situation of malnutrition and stunt in a country where food shouldn't be a problem.

Soyanet has initiated discussion with Partners in Food Solutions for possible investment in production of Ready to Use Therapeutic Feeds (RUTF) as immediate intervention.

Today, our field officer visited Lalogi Farmers Cooperative Society in Pader District, who are actively involved in both soya seed multiplication and grain production.

Soyanet will continue working and supporting cooperative groups and other farmers organization in soyabean production and marketing.

Today, we checked out some of our small holder farmers, supported by our field extension officer in Oyam.

Soyabean remained one of the most catching alterative cash crops for the sub region.

Today, Soyanet signed a working MoU with Soyabean Development Agency Uganda to promote production, processing and marketing of soyabean and soya products in Uganda and the region.

Soyabean Development Agency Uganda is national level body of investors within soyabean value chain, formed to harness the unique energies and resources of key players in Uganda. It brings together research institutions, seed companies and soybean processors, farmers’ cooperative enterprises and exporters who share a commitment to grow together within the chain, do profitable business and contribute to feeding a growing population with affordable protein, meet the rapidly increasing local and world demand for quality and healthy soy products produced in sustainable manners.

We are delighted to be part of this movement.
