Born on 26th May 2000, Nikoya Sebro has always been a quiet, humble child who is always willing to learn anything and everything possible. At the age of three, she began to show interest in what goes on in the kitchen as she keeps on the heels of her aunt La Toya Williams. Her aunt began her many lessons with a butter knife and a rolling pin making butter cookies, one of her favorite snack. Over t

he years Nikoya will offer to assist in cutting up vegetables and offering to do the dishes when necessary. During her free time, she will watch many YouTube videos and the food network channel. Once a month during her sleepover parties with her best friends Danae and Zhane she will make dishes that she saw on television and wanted to try, this included pizza, alfredo with italian sausage or chicken, macaroni pie, grill chicken, and steam vegetables, fruit and fresh salad with her special dressing to name a few

In 2016 she was introduced to cake making and made her first sponge cake on Mother’s Day for her grandmother. After which she began making cupcakes in chocolate, vanilla, and banana. Apart from her love of cooking Nikoya enjoys attending Spanish camp, representing her school in the Tobago Northside Spelling Bee tournament and spending time with her family. Currently, Nikoya is saving her money with the hopes of owning her own restaurant when she grows older in which she wants to name it Nikoya’s Kitchen. With her aunt’s main lesson in mind – Dream It, Believe It and You can do it, and always have an adult with you in the kitchen, Nikoya tries her hand any anything possible. When asked which she wants to focus on cooking or baking she would always say BOTH.
