The brainchild behind this operation is none other than the petite beauty Denise E Piggott, whose passion for cooking and creating has led her to begin her own business.

“I found that many of our people go abroad and could not get these things and they miss a piece of home, so I want to give them that” she said. Every Trinidadian abroad always longs and craves for a little piece of home, that aesthetic that makes him/her Trini. That dish or snack that reminds them of the good old days when they used to go by Mrs. Mabel’s shop for sugar cake and red mango. Every so often we hear “Bring some sugar cake and roti skin for me when you coming up nah” or “I can’t wait until I come home to eat some roti and sweetbread” and I must admit sometimes these things are very hard to find.
