Hand to Hand Foundation

Hand to Hand Foundation Kids Club
Every Saturday, around 30 to 40 children come to hear a story, play games and make a craft. Despite this there are many more awaiting help.

Hand to Hand Foundation serves children and families in Pattaya, Thailand through education, community outreach, and compassionate care, bringing hope and opportunity to those who need it most. These are the children that are enrolled in our scholarship program and attend school during the week. Most of them were on our Pre-School before they went to school. Scholarship
We currently have 45 childr

en in our scholarship program, all of whom are fully supported by sponsors. Some of these children have not been to school for several years due to lack of finances. Family Care
Every Friday we reach out to the most needy people that live in the slums. We currently visit 31 families who live in a number of different slums. We provide food packages which consist of 2kg rice, two packets of noodles, cooking oil, fish oil, two tins of fish and a bar of soap. We also provide clothing and medicine when required. Pre-School
Hand to Hand’s pre-school is open every Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and we currently have over 50 children enrolled. The school is free and provides food, education, clothing and medical needs for the students. Many of the children that attend spend more time at the centre than they do at home in the slums. Prison
We visit the prisons three times per week giving food and water to all the inmates. Many of these are illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries. We supply them with milk, medication, diapers and special treats. Clothing is also given to these people as well as assistance with minor medical needs. Hospital
Every week we visit the children's ward in the local government hospital where we visit a number of patients. We provide for their needs and pray for the children. We give out presents, diapers, colouring books, crayons and much more! The Crossing
The Crossing is a youth drop-in center and skate park currently located at Duck Square, behind Big C Pattaya Tai. The Crossing provides an alcohol and drug free place for youth to come and hang out. There is much more available than just skating you can also play pool, listen to music, play the Nintendo Wii or learn a musical instrument.

This week at Hand to Hand Preschool was full of energy, learning, and so many smiles. We explored the letter “I” in English and the Thai letter chor chang (ช), all while diving into the fun world of sport games. Learning came alive in such a joyful way. Running, playing, cheering, and discovering together. These are the moments where education becomes exciting and meaningful. But more than letters and games, this place is something special. It’s a place filled with laughter. A place where children feel safe.
A place where they are seen, loved, and encouraged every single day. For many of these children, this is their happy place.
And honestly, it’s ours too.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible. You are part of every smile, every lesson, and every moment of joy we get to experience together.

There is something deeply humbling about stepping into communities where the needs are real and visible. This is what family support looks like for us. Going into less fortunate areas, sometimes places we’ve been many times before, and other times brand new communities where the need for food and support is great. We bring what we have. Food and other essentials when they’re available. But what we give is more than just items.
We sit. We listen to their stories. We pray together. We laugh together. Sometimes we cry together. And sometimes, a simple hug says more than words ever could. It is truly an honour to do what we do. To walk alongside families. To be welcomed into their lives.
To remind them they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us, prays with us, and makes moments like these possible. Because together, we’re not just meeting needs… we’re sharing hope.

Walking through prison gates is something that never feels “normal.” The sounds. The locked doors. The weight in the air.
And yet, every time we go, we’re reminded… God is already there.

This week, we spent time with some inside who would say are forgotten. But sitting with them, listening, praying, and sharing about Jesus, you quickly realize something powerful…
They are not forgotten. There were moments of honesty.
Moments of reflection. Moments where hearts softened, even if just a little. We didn’t come to judge past mistakes. We came to remind them that their story isn’t over. Because of Jesus, there is still hope.
Because of Jesus, there is still purpose. Because of Jesus, there is still a future. Thank you for standing with us as we continue to go where hope is needed most.
Even behind prison walls…
God is moving.

This week at our cell group at the housing location had such a good feel to it. There’s something about gathering in a simple space and just sharing life together that never gets old.
We sat close. Conversations were real. Prayers were sincere.
People took time to truly listen. There was a natural flow to the night, full of encouragement, connection, and genuine moments with one another. We also took a moment to celebrate Peach’s birthday, which brought some extra smiles and laughter into the evening. Nothing about it was fancy. Nothing about it was loud.
Just people showing up, being present, and God moving in the middle of it all.

We’ve shared before how important schools are as partners with Hand to Hand, and once again, Regents International School Pattaya has shown just how impactful that partnership can be.
They have donated a large amount of stationery items that will bless so so many. These are not just supplies, they are tools that open doors for learning, growth, and opportunity.
They also generously donated shoes, and we know they won’t sit long. They’ll find feet that need them very quickly.
It’s partners like Regents who help us truly make a difference in lives.
Thank you for your generosity, and even more, for your friendship.

SO PROUD OF THEM

We’re seeing real progress in our English classes and it’s exciting.
This week, we didn’t just review the commands like “pick up the spoon” or “put the fork on the plate” or "put the spoon and the fork in the cup"
We took it a step further.
One by one, the students came to the front and became the “teacher.”
They gave the commands and the rest of the class had to listen and follow. And they did!! YAY!!!
Then we pushed it even more. Instead of just one instruction, we gave *three commands in a row*.
And guess what… About 90% of the students followed all three correctly. Unfortunately no photos of this :(
That’s not just memorizing. That’s understanding. That’s confidence growing right in front of our eyes. They’re listening. They’re learning.

And they’re doing so well.
We’re so......
