Mint House Project
"Breathing New Life into an Old Home, A Space of Living and Calm", This is the story of a dated housing estate in Watcharapol, Bangkok a home worn down by time, its structure aged and weary. The owners came to Team Wardwai with one clear intention: bring this house back to life. The condition? Every decision had to align precisely with the principles of Feng Shui.

ผลงานรีโนเวทบ้บ้านจัดสรรในโครงการเก่าย่านวัชรพล กรุงเทพฯ หลังนี้มีสภาพโครงสร้างทรุดโทรมตามอายุ เจ้าของบ้านเดินเข้ามาหาทีมวาดไว้ พร้อมความต้องการเพียงข้อเดียวที่ชัดเจน อยากให้บ้านกลับมามีชีวิตอีกครั้ง และทุกอย่างต้องสอดคล้องกับหลักฮวงจุ้ยอย่างถูกต้อง

ก้าวแรกหลังกำแพงบ้าน จะพบกับ Pavilion อาคารรับแขก ที่คุมโทนด้วยสีดำลึก มุมบาร์เครื่องดื่มสำหรับแขกที่แวะเวียน และมุมนั่งฟังเพลงผ่านเครื่องเล่นแผ่นเสียงอันเป็นที่รักของเจ้าของบ้าน สองพลังงานนี้อยู่ร่วมกันได้อย่างลงตัว สนุกสนาน และสงบในเวลาเดียวกัน สายตาจากภายใน Pavilion ทอดผ่านสวนรอบบ้านที่ปูด้วยหินและทรายขาวสไตล์ญี่ปุ่น ไปจบที่ห้องทำงาน Double Volume ขนาดใหญ่ ออกแบบให้ทุกคนในบ้านยังคงมองเห็นและรู้สึกถึงกันได้เสมอ
ภายในตัวบ้าน ต้อนรับด้วยตี่จู้เอี๊ยะที่จัดแสงให้นุ่มและสงบ เปรียบเสมือนจุดพักใจก่อนเข้าสู่พื้นที่ชีวิต ห้องทำงานสูง 6.5 เมตรรับแสงธรรมชาติจากทิศหน้าบ้าน ผนังทึบอยู่ด้านหลังโต๊ะทำงานตามหลักฮวงจุ้ยเพื่อเสริมพลังและความมั่นคง โซนรับประทานอาหารและครัวอบอุ่นด้วยโทนไม้และแสงจากโคมไฟ
บ้านหลังนี้พูดด้วยความเงียบ แต่ทุกมุมมีเรื่องราวทีมออกแบบเลือกใช้ วัสดุ เป็นตัวกำหนดอารมณ์แต่ละพื้นที่ โดยไม่ยึดติดกับสไตล์ใดสไตล์หนึ่งอย่างตายตัว แต่กำหนดทุกองค์ประกอบให้อยู่ในโทนสีและพลังงานเดียวกัน
อาคารรับแขก พื้นผิวสีดำของบาร์เครื่องดื่ม กระเบื้องสีดำมันวาว ตัดกับแสงไฟแบบ warm track light สร้างบรรยากาศที่รู้สึกเหมือนเข้ามาในบาร์ส่วนตัว มุมเครื่องเล่นแผ่นเสียงเสริมด้วยเฟอร์นิเจอร์วินเทจ Mid Century โทนน้ำตาลเข้ม เก้าอี้สีสดทั้งฟ้า เขียว และเหลือง ปล่อยให้สีโดดเด่นขึ้นมาในพื้นที่ที่โดยรอบเป็นสีเข้มสนิท
ภายในตัวบ้าน ใช้สรโทนครีม-ขาว-ไม้ ฝ้าเพดานไม้สีอ่อนทำให้ห้องรู้สึกอบอุ่นโดยไม่ต้องพึ่งสีเข้ม โต๊ะทานอาหารไม้ทั้งตัว ล้อมรอบด้วยเก้าอี้ไม้โทนน้ำตาล แสงจากโคมไฟ warm light ห้อยต่ำลงมาสร้างบรรยกาศที่อบอุ่น
สวนญี่ปุ่นกลางบ้าน หินและทรายขาวสไตล์ Karesansui เชื่อมทุกพื้นที่ในบ้านเข้าหากันผ่านสายตา โคมหินและต้นไม้ที่ถูกคัดสรรมาวางอย่างตั้งใจ ที่ทำหน้าที่กรองอารมณ์ก่อนเข้าสู่แต่ละพื้นที่

A home for a running-loving couple, their father, and five rabbits. This project is a renovation of a 30-year-old townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The original house faced several challenges: low ceiling heights, limited openings, and poor ventilation, resulting in a dark, enclosed, and uncomfortable interior.
One of the key requirements was the integration of a solar cell system. The design introduces a tilted facade, optimized for maximum sun exposure while providing efficient space for solar panel installation.
The core design approach focuses on “reopening” the house. bringing back light, air, and spatial clarity.A small front courtyard is introduced to improve airflow, A double-space as a thermal buffer, reducing heat gain, The living area is reconfigured into an open plan, enhancing openness and connection.
The spatial organization is based on the existing structural grid: 3-meter grid: service areas (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms), 4-meter grid: open living spaces for relaxation and shared activities. The result is a home that feels light, breathable, and alive designed for both human living and the comfort of their pets.
