ลูกค้าที่แวะมาร้าน บ้านคริส หลายท่านมักยิ้มทันทีเมื่อเห็น Paddington Bear หมีน้อยในเสื้อโค้ตสีน้ำเงินใส่หมวกสีแดงยืนต้อนรับอยู่ที่เคาน์เตอร์กาแฟ ราวกับกำลังเชิญชวนทุกคนให้ก้าวเข้าสู่บ้านอันแสนอบอุ่นที่เต็มไปด้วยกลิ่นหอมของกาแฟและขนมปังซาวเวอร์โดว์ที่กำลังอบ
Paddington Bear เป็นหมีน้อยผู้โด่งดังจากประเทศอังกฤษ สร้างสรรค์โดยนักเขียน Michael Bond ในปี ค.ศ. 1958 หมีจากเปรูตัวนี้เดินทางมาถึงสถานีรถไฟ Paddington ในกรุงลอนดอน พร้อมป้ายที่เขียนว่า “Please look after this bear. Thank you.” ด้วยความสุภาพ อ่อนโยน และมองโลกในแง่ดี Paddington จึงกลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความอบอุ่นและการต้อนรับของชาวอังกฤษ

Many of our guests smile the moment they walk into Baan Chris and spot Paddington Bear warmly welcoming everyone from our coffee counter. It’s a small touch, but one that brings the comforting charm of England into our café.
Paddington Bear, created by British author Michael Bond in 1958, is one of the United Kingdom’s most beloved characters. Arriving at London’s Paddington Station from Peru with a tag reading, “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” he quickly won hearts with his kindness, politeness, and gentle spirit.
Paddington became even more iconic in 2022 when he shared afternoon tea with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during the Platinum Jubilee celebration. In the memorable short film, Paddington revealed his famous marmalade sandwich hidden inside his hat, a delightful moment that touched millions around the world.
