Got something special coming up and need a place where the whole family can actually enjoy it? Bring your friends, bring the kids, bring everyone — we’ve got the space for it.
At Moon Hut we host all kinds of celebrations, from kids’ birthdays to family dinners and any special occasion worth gathering for. If you have questions or want to plan something, just message us.
And food will definitely not be a problem — our menu is big, with Thai dishes and European favourites, so everyone usually finds their own go-to meal.
Kids can run around on the beach, play in the sand, splash in the water and just be kids for a while instead of being glued to screens.
And for the adults? Good food, ice cold drinks, sea breeze, sunset views and no stress. We can set up portable fans to keep everyone comfortable in the heat, and our team will make sure you can simply enjoy your day.

At Moon Hut, it’s all about enjoying good food your way - the menu is full of options, so everyone finds something they love.
My personal favorites are the pomelo salad (yum som o) and the slow-braised pork with creamy mash...
I keep coming back to those every time. If you’re in the mood for seafood, the fresh mussels are a must - Thai style, clear with garlic, or creamy with garlic. There’s a mix of Thai classics and international dishes, all made fresh and served right by the beach.
Come by anytime, we’re open from 8AM till 10PM, kitchen running all day, ready for you.

Songkran is not something you just watch — you step into it. April 13 the whole Thailand turns into chaos in the best way… water flying from every direction, music, people laughing, no one taking life too seriously. You might try to stay dry for five minutes… good luck with that.

If you’re on Samui right now, go out, get yourself a water gun, and join in. It’s messy, loud, a bit crazy — and that’s exactly why everyone loves it.

Welcome to Koh Samui — beautiful island, amazing beaches, delicious food.
Here at MoonHut we bring it all together: the views, the food, and the energy. There’s also entertainment — live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have a pool table you can use for free, books you can borrow to read on the beach, and board games if you feel like it.
If it gets too hot, just ask our staff for a fan — we’ll gladly bring one for you to use on the beach. Come over and enjoy your life to the fullest.
