Our Story
I started baking my first dessert at the age of 12 and went for my first baking class at the age of 15. Since then, I continuously bake for family and friends especially during Hari Raya. Despite having a passion in baking, I did not fulfil my dreams and stop baking almost half a decade due to many failures attempt. During my best friend wedding, she requested me to bake her a wedding c
ake. Reluctantly, I baked a simple chocolate wedding cake which turned out to be a success. Friends and family members of the bride and groom enjoyed the cake and many requested to order different cakes. That gave me the encouragement to refuel my passion in baking. Since then, I started Sweet Treats by Dee Chic which goes through a rebranding to Dees Treats in 2020. In 2018, I graduated from AMP Micro Business Programme and one of the Capital Grant Winner. The following year, I took part a charity event Bake with Change that was organised by AMP. I donated 200 bottles of Bangkit Chocolate and 200 bottles of Maple Cookie. In 2022, once again I work closely with AMP Hari Raya Charity Bakes, AMPowering Lives, with a donation of 100 bottles of Maple Cookie.
