My most intricate design yet. Tbh im not even good at painting. I accepted this order purely because im feeling too comfortable with my current designs and i wanna try sth more challenging. Truth is i wasnt even sure if i cld pull it off. But here i am looking thru these pictures of the end product, im feeling rly accomplished and proud of myself . A hand painted jenday conure requested by client using buttercream as medium. The hardest part was actually nt the painting itself but getting those colors right. Spent a minimum of 6hrs painting this, excluding the baking time etc. So the nxt time you ordering a customized cake, stop asking for discount. You’re not just paying for the ingredient costs. There’s overheads, hours spent, r&d... You want sth cheaper, go get it off the shelf. 🤷🏻‍♀️
