Chicken Katsu Sandwich with Spicy Mayo | Anyone also feeling Monday blues although we are all wfh? Why do I still feel the blues? Bleargh. Anyway, in my sadness, this chicken gently wrapped me into its warm crispy juicy breastssssss. And always, ALWAYS, so satisfying to open my mouth wide to bite into the huge sandwich. DAMNNN. That's also why I crave for burgers and sandwiches just because I crave for that huge messy bite.
Pan-fried and then oven baked to lock in the moisture. A quick-enough meal for your WFH lunch. Sandwich game strong! 💪💪 And also, I used the white bread I made for this. *flips hair*

I'M...UNSTOPPABLE!! THIS COOKIE MANIA HAS GOT TO STOP! Cookie fatigue, is there such a thing?! And I am turning into cookie shape from the non-stop eating 😂 HALP!!

Someone used to tell me, that I have to learn to pace myself 😭 I always get into this state of excitement and then I will dive right in, work on it nonstop and then tire myself out!HAHAHAHAH. I really, really, got to pace myself. Same like how when I love to eat something, I can eat it for DAYS straight until I get sick of it then I don't eat it anymore. Go hard or go home, baby 😉 .

Deconstructed smeared dark chocolate 年糕 cookie? It looks weird and gross here and I contemplated if I should post this here but I must be proud of who I am and my cookie stands proud too. HAHAHAH. I like to play with my food, I am the sort who would press and poke on my soft bread before I eat it or poke at leftovers. HAHAHAH. I am all about the touch 😏

Anyway once again, I am so thankful for the overwhelming orders. More than 70 orders and I wish I could take more but I am only a lonely baker. WAHAHAHA. That's more than 1500 cookies btw. I totally dint intend to do CNY orders cos I wanted to recover from the previous festive period but alas I'm here. Waiting to churn out my Valentines day box when I have the time. Hopefully I bring good news! 😘

I totally deserve a break after this! Btw errbady drink more water please, as much as we enjoy cookies...the countless experiments has given me sore throat and flu. HAHAHAHA. 😷

[PRE-ORDER] After several experiments, these 年糕 chocolate cookies are up for sale! Bite sized, double chocolate with dark choc chips stuffed with 年糕 baby. 年糕 (nian gao) is a Chinese glutinous rice cake with the texture similar to mochi 🍡. These soft cookies have crisp edges with a CHEWY centre from the likes of the 年糕 😌. If you prefer to have a softer molten core, I recommend you microwave the cookie for 10 secs!

[Pre-order for CNY] Hae Bi Hiam cookies! Fragrant spicy crispy shrimp shortbread cookies... a savoury cookie for a change! I love this cookie myself because it is so flavourful and I love all things spicy. Wahahah! Got to try this!

Strawberry shortcake with greek yogurt cream, made for an order. Classic cake in a not so traditional way 😉 Heh. This cake had a request for more cream, so cute! Like bubble tea, you can ask for more or less cream! 😌

Here we have mixed chocolate chunk cookies with DARK brown sugar. Dark brown sugar gives it a deeper caramlized flavour but at the time increases its moisture as compared to light brown sugar. So these turned out slightly softer but still chewy, and it is still a hit! 😍 Been slightly obsessed with making cookies these days. Oops it is quite an unchartered baking territory for me honestly, cos I used to dismiss it as an easy bake. But I AM SO SORRY. I REALISED MY MISTAKE.

Cookies are so sensitive to the composite of every ingredient and it affects the texture and the form so significantly! Never knew and I am determined to continue to make more of these in different variations. It amazes me every single time 😌😌

Chewy chocolate chunk cookies! These cookies have crisp edges and a soft chewy centre. The semi sweet chocolate chunks also mixed with some dark chocolate chips, is balanced with a light dash of sea salt. Now up for pre-order and collection on Sunday/Monday!

I live in my own world where I think if I don't like something, everybody doesn't like it too. HAHAHAHA. But apparently there are real cookie lovers out there, and some love chewy and soft one (sounds weird now). Dont worry this has been tried and tasted by real cookie lovers 😂😂 (aka my usual family guinea pigs). I would approve this myself too, if I don't declare myself as someone who loves hard and crispy ones 😉 (but I secretly ate a few of these myself 😭).
