Look at those cracks! 😍 After so many tries, finally got that beautiful crinkle top with a soft, chewy and fudgy center and NOT overly sweet.

People often say baking is an art, and I agree - but I also believe it's a science. Your foundation has to be right. The cake has to be moist, stable, and delicious before you even think about decorating. A beautiful cake means nothing if the inside doesn't taste just as good.

For me, decorating is the final chapter. It only works because of everything that came before it.

And one thing I've learned after years of making cakes? My mind has to be completely clear. No rushing. No distractions. Just full focus on every detail, because one small mistake can affect everything.

That's why they say baking is a labor of love. ❤️ Every cake carries someone's special memory, and being trusted to create that is something I'll never take for granted.
