A cake made recently for some birthday month babies. ๐ŸŽ‚๐Ÿค

When I say my bakes are not overly sweet, believe me. I always aim for that perfect balance, just enough sweetness to let the flavors shine and keep you coming back for another slice.

Baking has always been one of my favorite ways to show love. Every cake, cookie, and pastry that leaves my kitchen carries a little piece of my heart with it.

And yes, I do take customized cake orders, but only a very limited number each month to ensure every cake gets the attention it deserves. A minimum of 1 month's advance booking is required to secure your slot.

I took a few days off from baking after baking for Christmas fruitcakes and cookies nonstop. ๐Ÿคฃ Now that CNY is just around the corner, I am now getting ready for CNY pineapple tarts and cookies.

I made this batch of dark fruitcake in response to a request for lighter, lower-sugar fruitcake. It was brushed with rum before serving and will be aged for a few weeks. I cut mine too soon because I was eager to taste it! ๐Ÿคฃ
