Cooking with Beoz ep 1
Let’s make kimchi rice cake + ramyeon together! ☺️ this is one of my FAVOURITE ways to enjoy kimchi! Kind of like rabbeoki but different flavours - with or without ramyeon works, I was just extra hungry that day 😆
Traditional tteokbokki has a sweet and spicy flavour profile, which is not what i had imagined, so when combined with kimchi that gives the sour and spicy kick, and balanced out with the umami in soy sauce (get a good full-bodied one like apple brand here!) and some sweetness, every bite is like a party of flavours in the mouth.
You can sprinkle sesame on top for extra protein and texture too - I was out of them so no sesame on mine 🥲
