Set up equipment and work stations for daily production operations

Coordinate with production teams for machine maintenance downtime

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain food production equipment

Execute emergency breakdown protocols

Assist in resolving downtime issues

Comply with cleanliness and safety regulations while setting up and maintaining food manufacturing equipment

Clean equipment and maintain equipment hygiene requirements for production use, after installation and/or repairs

Any other adhoc duties as assigned by Superior

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year’s experience in the engineering field
-Min qualifications of NTC2 or certificate in engineering
-A person of high integrity and good interpersonal skill

The Assistant Pastry Cook assists in the production of cakes, pastries, garnishes and baked items in a central kitchen environment. This includes gathering ingredients and equipment to prepare desserts and pastries, while following standard recipes and procedures to deliver high quality food and consistent baked goods.

Ensure that daily production targets are achieved and adhered to quality and food safety standards
Perform simple preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of food processing equipment to minimize breakdown
Production operation of Product forming, Dough preparation and Cooking
Daily housekeeping of work stations, periodic cleaning of equipment and facility maintenance
Auditing/Inspection on production line (Eg:ISO/HACCP/HALAL/Food Safety)
Check and verify all incoming raw materials have fulfilled the required acceptance outlined and products is of high integrity conditions upon receiving and used
Ensure compliance of First in, first out rules are applied
Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior
Job Requirements:

Relevant experience in Food manufacturing is preferred
Possess at least Secondary school education and/or WSQ qualification
Knowledge in HACCP, GMP and ISO 9001 is a plus
Able to carry heavy load and work under cold/hot environment
A person of high integrity and good interpersonal skill
Able to work independently and as well as a team
