Haven’t bake birthday cakes for awhile. I stopped baking since beginning of the year. Reserving my time for something more important. A little rusty in baking but I am just having fun making these cakes with a friend for our friends group birthday celebration.

Bake this massive 3 tiers (base is 20x14”) old school buttercream cake and decorated with fondant to match my church 20th Anniversary boomer theme. Each tier has different flavors: (base: Neapolitan, mid : Pandan coconut, top: coffee peanut)

Haven’t bake a birthday cake for awhile. This 6” 4 layers Japanese strawberry shortcake was a quick bake for a dear friend’s birthday and water baptism celebration.

My Humble Bakes From The Small Kitchen In The East
Hi there. I’m Jenny and I am a homemaker turns home baker.
My baking journey begun in 2011 when I had my first child and moved into my new home in the East of Singapore. I had zero baking experience then and started exploring recipes on books and internet. With the initial intention just to bake for fun with my child as some form of play, it had later turned me to a part time baker for my neighbourhood kids’ birthday party. I also started baking birthday cake for my daughter every year and slowly improved my baking skills over the years. However, in 2015, I stopped baking.
In 2017, I picked up baking again. This time, I had developed serious passion in baking and started exploring more recipes and experimenting cakes and desserts that I like and also share all my bakes with my family and friends. With good reviews received from them, I begun my journey as a part time home baker while I looked after my child solely. I baked mainly kids birthday cakes and sometimes little treat for friend’s parties.
Hopefully, one day I will have this opportunity to bake for you too.
