About Project Bake-Off 2013:
Project Bake-Off is now back by popular demand: Calling out to all baking enthusiasts! Project Bake-Off is a baking competition hosted by nEbo, the youth membership arm of NTUC. It aims to gather youths aged 15-25 nationwide who are passionate about baking. Our Aim:
To inspire and empower young bakers to develop their skills and explore the opportunity of an entrepre
neurial start-up in the line of pastry and confectionery. The Competition Objectives:
To showcase the skills of young bakers, allowing them to receive professional critique and advice from certified chefs and bakers. To expose participants to the environment of a culinary school such that they can explore the possibility of pursuing future studies and a career as a pâtissier. To help youths turn their passion into a possible entrepreneurial opportunity through their interaction with fellow bakers and chefs along with the funding from prize awards. The Desired Outcome:
The competition hopes to create opportunities for young bakers, connect the hearts of people with similar passions and engage them to join hands for baking activities to spread love to the community as well as possible entrepreneurial ventures. You don’t want to miss the rare opportunity of showcasing your skills and receiving professional advice and critiques from the certified chefs. So, what are you waiting for?
