What does the bread say to a friend after doing him a favor?
It's the yeast I could do. 🍞

Now, 🥐🄿🆁🄾🅾🄵🅴🅁 🅱🄾🆄🄻🅰🄽🅶🄴🆁🄸🅴🥖]] needs no introduction with 17 outlets across Singapore. Like me, you probably passed by at least one of their bakeries and took a peek.

Interestingly enough, 🥐🄿🆁🄾🅾🄵🅴🅁 🅱🄾🆄🄻🅰🄽🅶🄴🆁🄸🅴🥖]] has everything! Buns, baguettes, cakes and even a section for gourmet pizzas.

Their name, Proofer, comes from the word proofing, which allows time for yeast to create air pockets. The result is a fluffy bread that rises properly.

Breads in frame:

- Parmesan Cheese ($1.70)
- Blueberry Crumble ($1.60)
- Ham & Cheese ($1.70)

Our favourite was the Kaya Bun and Blueberry Crumble Bun. Both were poofy and visually appealing too.

buns always bring me back to my JC days — when school ended late they’d go for a dollar a piece at the MRT and i’d spend the train ride home thinking about what to get for breakfast the next morning. had the pleasure of picking some up from 🥐🄿🆁🄾🅾🄵🅴🅁 🅱🄾🆄🄻🅰🄽🅶🄴🆁🄸🅴🥖] and the comfort was all too familiar 🥹

1. chicken pie bun
the cheesy middle was a nice surprise! made something simple a little more indulgent.

2. coconut bun
actually gave this one to my bf’s mom because she mentioned this was her favourite and she enjoyed it ☺️

3. blueberry bun
soft and fluffy. i could definitely use more of the streusel topping on this to balance out the jam (anything crumbly and buttery 👌🏼), but delicious nonetheless

4. almond cream bun
this was the fluffiest bun of the lot. glazed and filled with a light cream and topped with crunchy almonds, it’s almost dessert

A bread monster in the house!

This boy can eat bread for all his meals! 🤷🏻‍♀️ So brought him to to satisfy his cravings!

Proofer offers wide variety of breads, cakes, pastries and even pizza! Many flavours to choose, so you won’t get bored of it.

There are many outlets in SIngapore. But if you are staying in Bukit Panjang, lucky you, there is just one at 📍 Hillion Mall, -45/46.

Are you team Soft & Fluffy or team Crispy? I like my waffles to be crispy on the outsides, fluffy on the inside! 💯 Kaya + peanut butter is also my go to filling because why not. 😛 Proofer waffles’ texture is really good esp if you eat it immediately, hot and crispy. The peanut butter is tad dry and I wouldn’t say that the filling is super generous. It’s also not the thick fulfilling kind but still a satisfying waffle 🧇🧇🧇🥰🥰🥰

Decent piece of castella cake hehehe with slight pandan taste. Got to day it’s a bit denser and oilier than the average pandan cake you find outside but still really 香😍🌱

Super moist and fluffy after warming it slightly!!!!
