Our Story:
Sharon, our Founder discovered her love & passion for baking & culinary after taking a career break to care for her 2 special needs children and elderly mom suffering from advanced stage liver cancer, advanced dementia & diabetes. Having to balance nutritional & dietary needs, plus dealing with very fussy eaters, Sharon found attending many baking & cooking workshops therapeutic and highly beneficial in helping her perfect her baking & culinary skills to present healthier bakes and cuisine to her loved ones who love pastries. Baking & Cooking allows people to connect, evokes joy & positive emotions, relieves stress & anxiety, besides learning good techniques, skills, mastery & precision, survival skills etc. It is also an expression of love, encourages creativity, artistic expression and is a fun therapeutic activity. Through working with her own children with social interaction challenges & attention deficit issues, Sharon has learned how to engage them in baking & cooking activities to instill life skills, teamwork, improve their focus & concentration, besides raising their confidence level.
