I had this idea in my head ever since I saw the Black and Gold episode on Crazy Beautiful Weddings with the awesomely talented , so when I was asked to do a cake based on the theme “geometric botanical” I jumped at the idea of including a plant holder in the design.🌿

Was pretty much holding my breath the entire time I was putting the top tier in position and praying the cake wouldn’t soften too much because the weather was simply scorching yesterday.🥵

First time doing up animal print macarons and I’m pretty pleased with the results of the freehand painting 😊

I’ve been a fan of The Lion King since it came out in 1994 - my first backpack to school had baby Simba and Nala on it, and THAT Mufasa scene still kills me every time 🥺.

So imagine how happy I am that my nephew is currently into The Lion King, and hence the birthday theme!

Happy birthday again dearest Isaiah, and while you might grow out of it (cos you’re only two!) I can’t think of a better film to kickstart your lifelong Disney education, of which this aunt will gladly be chief educator! 😂😂
