I don't exactly aim to make cakes that are "too pretty to eat". To me, cakes should look perfectly edible, and "pretty" in a way that entices you to forget that calorie count, open your mouth, and eat. Eat happily, heartily, and unashamedly, for all its delicious worth, with no single trace of guilt. As long as I give my best as a baker, I believe that simple can be pretty, and pretty can be very
delicious too. I hope you enjoy my baking space as I embark on a mission to save cupcakes from their look-good-but-don't-taste-good rep. Believe me, as someone who drinks kopi-o-kosong and teh-o-kosong, cupcakes can taste just as good without that overload of sugar! And if you're someone who thinks that matcha is one of the best flavours in the world, do give me a shout out.
