Taking "pride" in it also means a commitment to quality & consistency, with the knowledge that we are serving guests who often eventually become friends & loyal patrons. It is a burden that we do not take lightly. Being “authentic” is not a marketing gimmick; when we expanded in size in 2015 every aspect in terms of design of the “new” cafe frontage, its gold letterings & even wordings where drawn
& laid by the owner himself. All aspects of the renovations, interior design & layouts were hand drawn by the owner personally & handed over directly to our carpenter & master metal worker. The new frontage was purposefully made to look “different’ fr the main entrance to mark a milestone in our growth. It doesn't get anymore authentic than this. Sorry to say that no designers where “harmed” or hired in the entire process. Of course its not to say that every person will appreciate or like our store’s ambience or feel, but the gist of it is that it is indeed with this level of pride & authenticity that we take upon ourselves when we bake, cook & create each & every item. The owner himself is a qualified French Pastry Chef, he cooks too & makes a great cuppa - it is a burden that he has to bear. Much thought & many man hours have gone into all our creations; Food that isn't made by us, we don't sell & at Niche Savoureuse we do not prioritise our creations to be “instagram worthy”, rather its quality, taste & affordability - which is why we have a strong following of loyal guests.
