!!! BEST fish & chips in brighton 🇬🇧
we visited rybka which was highly reviewed online. it was pretty affordable with the fish supper platter for 2 priced at 25 pounds 🐟

the platter came with a generous portion of fish, chips and whole-tail scampi along with the classic pea puree, curry sauce and homemade tartar sauce. 🍤 the fish and chips were perfectly cooked to crisp with its light batter that did not feel greasy at all! when dipped with the traditional curry sauce, it added an extra burst of flavour which was so delicious!!

definitely the spot to get your fish & chips fix in brighton 🤤

came here with a couple of friends for a meal and loved the ambience! 🌮welcoming and hip vibes, with good music and neon decors around the restaurant. perfect for a chill hangout or to have drinks 🍸

what we had (4 pax):

holy trinity $13/ $29(L) — one of the must-order for mexican dining. holy trinity is a combination of chips, fresh tomato salsa and guacamole. was served separately from the dips maintaining the crunch and crispiness of the chips! we loved this dish, truly a mexican classic. 🤩

crispy pescado tacos $15 — highly recommend getting this dish! the fried dory fish was served with flour tortilla, chipotle aioli, red cabbage and pickled carrots. the flavours and textures of the different toppings worked so well together, but what stole the limelight was the chipotle aioli. it was tangy, sour, and savoury all at once! 🌮

gr**go burrito bowl $16 — a typical chicken burrito bowl topped with rice, black beans, cheese and veggies. the bowl was great but nothing too mind-blowing. 🥣

chicken quesadilla $16 — can’t go wrong with chicken and cheese together, the quesadilla was delicious! Served with homemade salsa and sour cream 😋

churros with choco dip $13 — we were really looking forward to the churros, however we were slightly let down as it was rather average. 🥞

overall, we would definitely be back to try their other dishes! With the amazing vibes and superb service, do drop by and give them a try if you’re in the area 🫶🏻

rooftop dining without breaking the bank!! 🍽

looking for fine dining in town at affordable prices? this rooftop garden restaurant at suntec offers a unique dining concept. 🌿 diners pay a cover charge ($5-$10) to enjoy food and drinks at affordable prices without high mark-ups! this place is perfect for a date night with its cozy ambience and lovely views! 🫶🏻

what we got:
crispy eggplant ($12.95) — the bite-sized roasted eggplants were tender and savoury. served with cream cheese, it adds a smooth and rich texture to each bite which complemented the subtle spice from the sweet chili sauce. 🌶
burrata ($14.50) — a really interesting dish compared to regular burrata that comes with tomatoes. instead it was paired with dried grapes, wine sauce and mint leaves which left a sweet and refreshing note🍷
grilled salmon ($15.55) — juicy and filling salmon served with a side of broccoli and tzatziki. loved the yoghurt-based sauce and the crispness of the salmon!
lemon tart ($10.95) — this handmade tart was filled with creamy, custard lemon curd. the buttery crust and rich zesty lemon flavour went really well together along with the bits of yuzu and blackberries 🍋

overall, it was a really interesting and new experience! would definitely be back to try their extensive fusion menu. here’s a tip, visit them at 3-5pm on weekdays to enter without any cover charge 😉

serving you the the juiciest beef in town - keef the beef, a local steakhouse! 🥩

we ordered The Proper PL which consists of 700g USDA Prime Ribeye, roasted vegetables and chimichurri sauce. nicely sousvide, it maintains its tenderness and crisp exterior 👌🏼

the oysters were super fresh as well! 6 weren’t enough for the 2 of us 😩

the dimly-lit interior of the restaurant gives a cosy & exclusive environment making it an ideal place to come with your partner 🫶🏻
