What a day to remember!

We are honoured to be one of the many sponsors invited to engage in this community event! Our business was raised by the strong support of our local communities, and it is important that we take opportunities to give back to our community.

We are glad that our contributions could make a small difference for the elderly in our community, and their smiles and laughter were worth every minute and effort in our bakery!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our main organiser and team for putting together this meaningful and engaging event! It was a wonderful community outreach programme, and The Emerald Bakery is glad to be able to be a part of this successful event 💪 Onto the next!

A big shout out to all other volunteers and fellow sponsors, for coming together to cater meaningful provisions for our elderly, and for spending a portion of your Saturday to engage and bring joy and happiness to our community folks 😊

Our Role Model, Our Pillar, Our Father.

A tribute to the man who made all the necessary sacrifices to raise and support our family. A tribute to the man who, regardless of the hardships and tribulations, stuck to his values and work ethics to pull through the toughest times.

These values were inculcated into our upbringing, and his principles guide us along our everyday lives. 'To put your heart into all that you do, and to never fear the hardships that are to come. As it's only through overcoming hardships and tribulations that we grow'.

This enduring spirit has been the cornerstone of our business and family, which is to put our hearts into all that we do, regardless of the challenges the road ahead demands 💪

We are immensely proud to have you as our father, and for the strength and willpower you instill in the business and our family.

For the past 27 years, we commit ourselves to providing quality bakes for all to enjoy! Despite the hard work and long hours, it all pays off when our customers leave filled and satisfied! 😀

A HUGE 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to everyone who joined us yesterday during our Grand Opening! 🎉❤️

We are extremely heartened to see many of our friends, families, and old customers from Clementi who have dropped by to give us plenty of encouraging words, blessings and flowers! 🙏🏼😄

We will also like to thank our new friends at Senja, for welcoming us with so much love and support 🥰 It was just the first day, but it already feels like home for us 🏠

As we navigate our way in this new chapter, we remain committed to delivering the flavours and quality that we are remembered for, and to play our small part in this Senja community 😄❤️

👀👀👀 A little update …

The Emerald Bakery, Baking Since 1998.

Alas, what a great 25 years it has been. Goodbyes are never easy, but there must come a day where goodbyes must be said. And that day comes today.

For the last 25 years, our owner, (my dad), Mr Dennis Lim, has helmed The Emerald Bakery with his dedicated team. We have grown over the last quarter decade, and we have watched our customers and community in Clementi grow together with us. We have watched customers come as young toddlers back in early 2000s, to now adults with their own children, and we are glad to have been around through many generations of customers. (Even I have ate my dad's bakes since 1998 till date, and I'm nearing 30! Hahah)

We thank all our customers for sticking by us through the good and tough times, and for giving us the warmth and love that not many businesses get to enjoy. Over the years, we no longer feel like a business, but rather as a family member of our local community. No words can describe the dilemma before we came to this decision to shutter the business. But as the saying goes, when one door closes, another one may open (possibly)!

It is now time to rest and regather, and we do hope to return in some capacity in future, so watch this space for updates! Thank you all once again for your love, it has been a lovely journey 😊
