as our kitchen is still busy baking the new year cookies, we are only able to have these pistachio chocolate tartlets ready from 23rd feb onwards.

so many of you guessed our new creation but nobody got it entirely correct..

could you tell how our tartlets are different from the viral pistachio knafeh?

1. we use roasted pistachio in our paste, making the colour deeper and more earthy (rather than the usual bright green)

2. we use feuilletine (thin, caramelised crepe flakes) for a more delicate crunch instead of kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) fried in butter

3. our pistachio paste is baked in the tartlet for the extra bit of caramelisation

4. all of the above!
