Last weekend I visited at their newly opened outlet at Club Street and really enjoyed their teishoku so this week I paid a visit to the Serangoon outlet (which is closing).

🍡 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒂
The new outlet at Club Street was just amazing vibes, and they offer a range of matcha powder from various prefectures so you get to choose the matcha of your preference. I found the matcha latte (I chose Kagoshima) at Club Street more fragrant than the one served at Serangoon (Shizuoka matcha).

🍱 𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒅
The teishoku options felt pretty value for money. Tried the Hokkaido Pork and Wagyu Tataki. Both were deliciously tender with sauce served on the side. The spicy sauce on tamago was charming and Tater Tots adds a cute crunch. I visited the Club Street outlet at 11am so we were served warm onigiri which was 🫢🏻
Egg Mayo Soft Shell Crab Sando was served with fluffy focaccia though I wished the fillings were more generous, even the egg mayo felt like it wasn’t enough.

All in all, loved the experience!

During my visit to BKK, I decided to try out [Somsak Claypot Crab] - a Michelin street food stall with a sister branch nearby. They begin setting up the stall from 3pm and food was served from 3:30pm. The crabs and prawns were surprisingly sweet and fresh!

Earlier this year, I finally left the country after 3 years. Attended a wedding in JB, took a flight to KL, went to BKK then back to SG just in time for my classes. While it was an extremely chill trip, it felt great to be out to see the sights again! Since the school holidays have started, I believe more people are packing up their luggages. Stay safe and enjoy your trips!
