I’m starting a little community project — for everyone who chooses my bread.
No rules, no pressure.

Just a simple photo and the words:
“I choose Mrs. Wolf Bageri bread.”

It helps understand if we should continue the sourdough bread tradition on Fridays at Hotell Toppen.
And it brings us a little closer. ♡

Everyone who shares a photo will join a small Easter draw.

For my followers in two countries :)

For Swedish people around Storuman. Soon my bread will be back. I plan to bake it on 22/08.
The same place - “Hotell Toppen”, Storuman.
And then we are back in middle of September for every Friday bake.

For my Latvian followers. You still can get option to learn how to bake my sourdough bread (online course on Instagram). Just wrote me “I wish”!

One cake, two different plates. I just wonder how important it would be for the buyer which plate the cake is served on....

One cake, two different plates. I just wonder how important it would be for the buyer which plate the cake is served on. It doesn't change the taste. It could even be placed on a paper napkin. But color still has a visual meaning. And we "eat" with our eyes too. So which would you choose - a cake on a white or black plate?

But my main discovery and joy was the recipe for the tart base dough, which I learned from Diāna Goba's wonderful book “16,226 g of sugar”. It was a pleasure to make these tart bases. Thank you, Diāna!

Viena kūka, divi dažādi šķīvīši. Tikai aizdomājos, cik pircējam būtu svarīgi un uzrunājoši, uz kāda šķīvīša kūka pasniegta. Garšu tas nemaina. Tā varētu būt uzlikta pat uz papīra salvetes. Bet krāsai tomēr ir vizuāla nozīme. Un mēs jau “ēdam” arī ar acīm. Tad kuru izvēlētos tu - kūku uz baltā vai melnā šķīvīša?
Bet galvenais mans atklājums un prieks par tartes pamatnes mīklas recepti, ko apguvu no burvīgās Diānas Gobas grāmatas “16 226 g cukura”. Tā bija bauda veidot šīs tartes pamatnes. Paldies, Diāna!

The kitchen is a place for my creativity. Thank you to the owner of Hotell Toppen for allowing me to express myself. Remember on Fridays you can’t only buy my sourdough bread at the hotel, but also enjoy my desserts and cakes as part of the lunch offer. Today for dessert - chocolate cupcakes with cherries and caramel cream. Welcome!

Köket är en plats för min kreativitet. Tack till ägaren av Hotell Toppen för att jag fick uttrycka mig. I mitt originalrecept ska det vara ett frö till i detta bröd. Svenska folk gillar inte dessa frön så mycket, så jag bestämde mig för att ta bort dem. Kan du gissa vilka frön som saknas?
