Hej Cutie Pies 🥧
Sorry for the long silence! Aside from a few market appearances, I spent this summer very busy as my alter ego- gelato maker and cookie baker for StikkiNikki! I missed you while I was away ❤
This post is primarily to share some big news with you. I'm a bit sad (but also excited!) to tell you all the bakery will not be reopening this fall, because Chris and I are moving to Spain! 🇪🇸
This means that I will not be able to be your provider for Thanksgiving pies this year. During the time I would normally be preparing and stocking my ingredients, we will instead be packing up our lives for a new adventure!
However, this is not the end. To celebrate a little before officially shutting off the oven, there will be one more Cookie Weekend this month🍪
Here's how it will work-
1. Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29 are our last pick up days. Pick ups will be at my production location, better known as StikkiNikki Lövängsgatan. For anyone who doesn't already know, I'm lucky enough to borrow some space in the back, including a truly kick ass oven.
2. We're going back to the old-school, Season 1 way of ordering. When the menu comes out, there will be an order form in the bio ☝🏻 The downsizing has begun, and the website was first on the chopping block.
3. I know this will bum some of you out, but it's cookies only, no pie. "But you're PIE to the People!" I know, I know, but...downsizing. Seriously, I'm making some hard choices over here.
4. Do you have a fave cookie you really want to see back? Maybe you're forever loyal to the OG Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk with Flaky Sea Salt, or maybe you became obsessed with Mom's Pumpkin Oatmeal when they made their brief appearance last year.
